
Rachel is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but now proudly makes Western North Carolina her home. She got her Master's degree from Ðǿմ«Ã½'s English Department in 2014 and currently teaches courses to support Ðǿմ«Ã½'s Writing, Rhetoric, and Critical Studies program and Latina/o Studies minor.
Rachel teaches rhetoric and composition, first-year seminars in literature, and 200 level literature courses focused on Latina/o or Latin-American literature.
Rachel has two research interest areas: transnational literature, specifically focusing on the literature of Latina/o immigrant, first-generation, and diaspora writers, and the intersection of rhetoric and social psychology.
