Teaching Interests
I have greatly enjoyed the teaching opportunities I have had and look forward to continuing
to work with and share my knowledge and experiences with students. I have been fortunate
to work with students from middle school through university. As a middle and high
school science teacher, I love challenging students to think critically and problem-solve.
As a university associate instructor, I work to engage pre-service teachers in understanding
their own educational philosophy and how students learn, and I help them, as future
educators, to engage students in learning that considers each individual's uniqueness.
