Students from Cape Fear Community College will be guaranteed admission to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ thanks to a new memorandum of understanding between the two institutions.

Jack Eaddy Jr., director of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s athletic bands and Pride of the Mountains marching band, has accepted a teaching position in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia.

Kathryn Greeley, chair of the board, has been appointed to the University of North Carolina Board of Governors effective immediately. Joining the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Board effective July 1, will be former N.C. State Representative Jon Hardister.
