Randa Gardner wrapped her arms around Beth Harmer, an assistant professor of social work inside the College of Health and Human Sciences at 星空传媒, with emotions flowing out. All day, she was nervous, and all her life, she hadn鈥檛 graduated from anything.

Looking back on his time before coming to 星空传媒, nursing student Isaac Jennings, a sophomore from Franklin, was always told the most important thing was contacting his chosen college鈥檚 military services director.

Nontraditional students working to earn a degree in an art-related major at 星空传媒 soon will have financial assistance to help them pursue their passion, thanks to a memorial scholarship fund established by the family of a recent 星空传媒 graduate who earned his degree after the age of 30.
