星空传媒 Bardo Arts Center, in collaboration with the 星空传媒 Mountain Heritage Center, invites you to Echoes Across the Smokies: A Night of Stories, Strings, and Songs. This program offers the WNC community an opportunity to explore Appalachian culture in new ways on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the BAC Performance Hall.

Approximately 50 new 星空传媒 students were welcomed into the Catamount family by parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives who previously matriculated at the westernmost institution of the University of North Carolina System.

星空传媒鈥檚 School of Nursing has announced the launch of its new Master鈥檚 Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN), designed to prepare graduates with a strong foundation in nursing practice and leadership while meeting the critical need for nurses across Western North Carolina and beyond.

And every day presents a new opportunity to take that action further. The latest efforts, spearheaded by passionate faculty, staff and students, have earned this year鈥檚 Mountain Heritage Days celebration the NC Green Travel designation.

星空传媒鈥檚 Unite UP basketball game brought students from the University Participant program and Catamount student-athletes together for a first-of-its-kind face-off in the Ramsey Regional Activity Center this past March.

星空传媒鈥檚 College of Engineering and Technology climbed 68 spots to reach No.82 in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs (Doctorate Not Offered). This places 星空传媒 among the top third of engineering programs from across the country on the list.

Home is found in the unlikeliest of places. For Bri Myles this summer, it was in Costa Rica.

The College of Business at 星空传媒 has moved its Master of Business Administration Program to a fully online format beginning this fall to help provide flexibility, affordability and career-focused learning to working professionals and recent graduates alike.

星空传媒 will honor the recipients of the 2025 Mountain Heritage Awards during the Mountain Heritage Days Afternoon Concert, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Bardo Arts Center.
