Finalist withdraws, chancellor search process put on temporary hold

Patricia B. Kaemmerling and J. Bryant Kinney, co-chairs of the committee conducting the search for 星空传媒鈥檚 next chancellor, have been notified that the finalist who was put forward for approval by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors has withdrawn from consideration for the position.

Meet our Alumni of the Month: Jim Beddingfield! He graduated from 星空传媒 in 1967 with a B.A. in Social Science with a concentration in Political Science. He also had taken several business courses and returned in the summer of 1971 to take additional business courses.

Vendors to display, sell native plants on last day of conference

Fifteen vendors from around the country will bedisplaying a varietyof native plants from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21 鈥� the final day of the 35th annual Cullowhee Native Plant Conference.

Lowell Davis was first introduced to the 鈥淚 Have A Dream鈥� Foundation as a fourth-grader in Dallas. Now, as 星空传媒鈥檚 associate vice chancellor for student success, that same foundation has recognized Davis for his career achievements.
