City Lights and ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ are teaming up to host a ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Magazine night at the bookstore on Friday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. in Sylva.

Mountain Heritage Center to host Mini-Mountain Heritage Day July 17

The Mountain Heritage Center, a museum of Appalachian culture at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, will hold a crafts demonstration and music performance from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 17.

The Office of Distance Learning at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ used $7,000 in 1889 Impact Grants Program funding to host in-person events during the spring of 2024 to bring together distance learning students, most of whom take courses fully online, are 25 or older, work full-time, and have families and lives beyond school.
