Campus community prepares for a week of MLK Jr. events

Oralene Anderson Graves Simmons is the keynote speaker for 星空传媒鈥檚 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Simmons will give her presentation Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center. The theme is 鈥淒r. Martin Luther King Jr.鈥檚 Legacy of Connection: The Story of U.S.鈥�

Search committee for 星空传媒 athletics director receives charge, looks to make decision by March

A 15-member committee looks to select no more than six candidates for off-campus interviews in mid-February before selecting one or two finalists to bring to campus later that month.

Participating officers raised $280 and Mike Byers, 星空传媒鈥檚 vice chancellor of administration and finance, matched that amount for a total of $560.

A Decade in Review

The past ten years at 星空传媒 have been transformational, to say the least. Our student population has consistently grown; our campus has evolved to support the future, and all members of our Catamount family have experienced many life-changing moments here at 星空传媒. After taking a moment to reflect back, we now look to the future. Not only for our university but also for our students, faculty, staff, and community that call 星空传媒 home.

Haywood Community College joins 星空传媒 for university direct-entry admission program

The new Catamount Navigator Program builds upon the North Carolina Comprehensive Articulation Agreement that governs the transfer of credits from community colleges to UNC System institutions.
