Ðǿմ«Ã½ Stories

A Student's View

As I reflect on my time at Ðǿմ«Ã½, I’m reminded of how much this campus has shaped me—both in and out of the classroom. Ðǿմ«Ã½ has given me the space to grow, to lead, to stumble, and to stand back up again. It’s a place where I’ve found my purpose, my people and my voice.

Being a student here means more than pursuing a degree. It means becoming part of a community that challenges you to think critically, engage meaningfully and serve others with heart. Whether it was through student organizations, campus events, or quiet moments of learning and reflection, each chapter of my journey has added depth to who I am becoming.

As I look toward the rest of my time at Ðǿմ«Ã½, my hope is to continue building on that foundation—to finish with integrity, give back where I can and encourage others to do the same. I want to leave knowing I contributed to a culture that values differences, encourages curiosity and lives with compassion.

To every student reading this: Your experience here is uniquely yours. Don’t rush through it. Don’t be afraid to explore, ask questions, and make mistakes. Get involved in things that matter to you, surround yourself with people who challenge and support you, and always advocate for yourself and your peers. Some of the most meaningful growth will come from the moments you least expect. And remember, you belong here, just as you are.

Thank you to the faculty, staff, mentors, and friends who make Ðǿմ«Ã½ what it is. I’m proud to be a part of this community.

Time will move fast—but the impact you leave behind will last much longer. Keep pushing, stay grounded and don’t forget to enjoy the journey.

With optimism and gratitude,

Grady Jones
