Carteret CC students now have guaranteed admission to 星空传媒

On Friday, Dec. 8, 星空传媒 Chancellor Kelli R. Brown and Tracy Mancini, president of Carteret Community College, virtually signed a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions that guarantees admission to 星空传媒 for all Carteret graduates who satisfy certain requirements.
The memorandum will offer a direct pathway for students at Carteret to earn their four-year degree at 星空传媒.
鈥溞强沾� is proud to partner with Carteret Community College in streamlining the pathway for transfer students to further their education at 星空传媒,鈥� Brown said. 鈥淚 am a proud community college graduate and I understand the importance of opportunities such as this that give students access to a high-quality education at a four-year institution."
Mancini is excited for the opportunities Carteret graduates will have at 星空传媒.

鈥淭he NC Promise tuition of $500 per semester at 星空传媒 makes high-quality degree completion for our associate degree graduates very affordable,鈥� Mancini said. 鈥淚 have visited 星空传媒鈥檚 campus in the last year and am impressed with their investment in STEM and public safety programs, as well as their overall commitment to teaching and learning excellence. We look forward to hearing that some of our students go from Carteret to being Catamounts.鈥�
Students who are interested in participating must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a currently enrolled student at Carteret CC in a degree-seeking capacity
- Submit 星空传媒 application for admission and records by 星空传媒 deadlines
- Submit application fee or waiver and fulfill all commitment action steps
- Be in good standing at Carteret and other institutions attended
- Demonstrate good citizenship and conduct
- Earn and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 at Carteret and a minimum GPA of 2.20 in their most recent term
- Earn an associate鈥檚 degree from Carteret in a college transfer program or in an applied program for which an articulation agreement exists
- Enroll at 星空传媒 within one academic year (within the next two regular terms [fall/spring semesters] of completion of the associate鈥檚 degree)
