ǿմý hosted the inaugural OEC on campus in Cullowhee in 2018 and is an integral member of the that supports the regional outdoor industry and is working to help grow Western North Carolina’s outdoor economy.
ǿմý students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the Southeast’s premier outdoor conference at significantly discounted rates ranging from 65 percent off for ǿմý faculty and staff up to 75 percent off for ǿմý students.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Building an Outdoor Economy” and will focus on four key building blocks essential for outdoor recreation to be an economic driver: workforce development, branding and marketing, supply chain development and identifying recreation assets and infrastructure.
