Transfer students inducted into Tau Sigma National Honor Society

星空传媒鈥檚 Office of Student Transitions hosted a Tau Sigma National Honor Society induction ceremony and reception on March 19 in the Multipurpose Room of A.K. Hinds University Center.
Tau Sigma recognizes the academic accomplishments of new transfer students who earned a 3.5 or greater GPA during their first semester at 星空传媒.

鈥淭his year, we inducted 91 new members, which is the largest new group ever for us,鈥� said Glenda Hensley, director of the Office of Student Transitions. 鈥淥ur prior years, we have averaged about 39 new members, so this group is on the rise.鈥�
Ceremony activities also included the presentation of a National Tau Sigma scholarship check to this year鈥檚 星空传媒 recipient - , president of the honor society's 星空传媒 chapter.
