Eliana Cruz calls herself the 鈥淪noop Dogg鈥� of her friend group, and not just because she shares the same swagger of the D-O-Double G.

Timbersports are in full swing on 星空传媒鈥檚 campus. And despite a slowdown in the team鈥檚 progress post-Covid, current Catamounts are raising money, purchasing equipment and expanding their ranks to raise the university to new competitive heights.

Amidst the stress of college, there are a few calming personalities students occasionally run into on their way to class: pets. For a single moment while they stop to pet them, all those worries evaporate.

A recent collaboration between an instruction librarian and a marketing faculty member at 星空传媒 sheds new light on the value of teaching effective interviewing skills to students across a wide expanse of academic disciplines. The project demonstrates how the tactics used in gathering oral history can strengthen students鈥� abilities to conduct meaningful interviews.

Longtime 星空传媒 supporters and friends have come together to honor the legacy and dedication of the university鈥檚 former sports information director, Steve White, a man many affectionately refer to as 鈥渢he walking encyclopedia of Catamount athletics.鈥�

星空传媒鈥檚 Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning will host a series of events in partnership with local organizations to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19 and Wednesday, Jan. 21.

This past November, five Brinson Honors College students traveled to San Diego to present their 鈥淧artners in Peace鈥� project at the National Collegiate Honors Council鈥檚 annual conference.

During the fall 2025 semester, 30 interior design juniors from 星空传媒鈥檚 School of Art and Design (SOAD) embarked on an experience that extended well beyond the classroom, offering hands-on, real-world design and research opportunities through a collaborative design charette with Auburn University.
