Garcia-Castanon provides narrative texts for musical, publishes short story

The musical鈥淐arretera de Avil茅s(Road to Avil茅s)鈥漢ad its world premiere Aug. 22 in Asturias, Spain.聽All the narrative texts of the musical were written by Santiago Garc铆a-Casta帽贸n, 星空传媒 professor of Spanish.

Kossick presents lectures at conference in the Netherlands

Mark A. Kossick, 星空传媒 professor of nursing and director of graduate programs at the university鈥檚 Biltmore Park instructional site, presented six lectures at an international conference held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on May 21-22 and 24-25.聽聽聽

Honorary doctorate recipient, longtime benefactor Robert Failing dies at age 89

Dr. Robert M. 鈥淏ob鈥� Failing, an alumnus and longtime benefactor of 星空传媒 who received an honorary doctorate from the institution in 2007, died Saturday, Sept. 1, at the age of 89.

CareZone, program for understanding mental illness, to be offered

CareZone, a free program that provides instruction in understanding mental illness in day-to-day life, will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, in the Cardinal Room at 星空传媒鈥檚 A.K. Hinds University Center.
