Through skill-packed workshops and real-world experiences, DegreePlus helps you learn how to show up, stand out, and crush it in professional spaces through problem-solving skills, communication skills, workplace behavior and etiquette skills, and working with colleagues and supervisors.
We have just rolled out exciting new updates to DegreePlus and want you to know about them. The program is now focused on Professionalism and why it matters. Employers are saying that professionalism is a major gap for interns and new hires. Don’t fall in the gap!
Through skill-packed workshops and real-world experiences, DegreePlus helps students learn how to show up, stand out, and crush it in professional spaces through problem solving skills, communication skills, workplace behavior and etiquette skills, and working with colleagues and supervisors.
DegreePlus Program includes:
- 10 required foundational workshops (2 per category). Please see workshop descriptions further down this page.

- Other - You can choose two activities/workshops/etc. that you feel like helped you develop as a professional!
- A semester‑long Professional Skills Experience
- Once you complete your foundational workshops, you can participate in an activity for one semester to practice your professionalism skills. You can choose: assisting a professor with research, an internship, a job, a service-learning course, a study abroad experience, or a volunteer opportunity.
- Complete a mock interview using Big Interview software
You Receive: a notation on their academic transcript, a certificate of completion, an invitation to the end-of-semester gathering, and cords for graduation.

Yes! Participate through our on Canvas. Distance learners can complete the entire program online, residential students can complete up to 3 total points for the program.
