Giving Societies
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is making a difference in the lives of students and therefore, their impact on our world. The generosity of our donors and friends highlights the philanthropic spirit that drives our growth and propels our vision. To exemplify this reciprocity, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ has four Giving Societies—two for lifetime giving and two for annual giving. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ believes in the transformative power of building relationships, and we welcome you to join us.
The Madison Legacy Society recognizes documented planned gifts bequeathed to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ or
the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Foundation. Planned gifts support ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and its students in perpetuity.
The Cullowhee Society recognizes donors or organizations with cumulative cash giving
of $100,000 or more.
Named in honor of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s founding year, the 1889 Club recognizes
donors for gifts made to the Fund for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ on an annual basis.
The Shetland Society celebrates ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ faculty and staff donors at all levels who work
hard for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and the University’s role to deliver goods to our student body and the
greater community.
