Get Involved
People support ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ for many reasons – because of the wonderful
memories they hold from their time here on campus; because they believe an investment
in ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is an investment in the future; because they once received a scholarship that
helped them achieve their dreams; because they wish to honor the memory of friends
or loved ones. Whatever your reason, we invite you to learn about the many opportunities
to get involved with ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and grow with us.
If you are attended ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ for all or part of your college career, we consider you part of our Catamount family. We invite you to join us for alumni events and become a member of one of our ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ alumni clubs across the country. Find out more about alumni events, career resources, Western clubs and more.
Faculty and Staff
As a faculty or staff member, you are a part of the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ family. Making a gift to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½
is just one more way you can join your colleagues in support of Western Carolina.
You can choose to make your tax deductible payroll gift specifically to your college
or unit, or to the Fund for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, which supports scholarships and other high-need areas.
Some of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s most loyal supporters are not alumni but rather community members who
have been touched in some way by Western Carolina's mission of providing a high-quality,
affordable, engaged education to people in the westernmost region of our state. Learn
how you can make a difference in the lives of current and future Catamounts.
From scholarships to expert faculty, every student benefits from gifts to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Students
play a big role in our fundraising efforts. Learn how you can be part of the next
generation of proud Catamount supporters.
