Thomas Golden

Ðǿմ«Ã½ senior Thomas C. Golden, a member of the spring graduating class, will deliver the primary address for Ðǿմ«Ã½â€™s morning undergraduate commencement. He was chosen for that honor by a campus committee through a speaker selection process that was open to all graduating undergraduate students.

A native of Holly Springs, Golden graduated from Holly Springs High School in 2017 and has majored in construction management at Ðǿմ«Ã½.

Outside of class, Golden served as chapter president of the Nu Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a mentor for Project CARE, secretary for the Black Student Union, a founding member of Black CM, which is a student support group for black students in the construction management major, and a member of Order of Omega.

In recognition of his service, Golden won the American HomePlace Scholarship in 2018 and the Joel W. Kimmel Scholarship, the I Love Ðǿմ«Ã½ Scholarship and the Kimmel Endowed Scholarship in 2017.
